Guide To Complete Installation Process For Homogenous & Heterogeneous Flooring

 Floor Detection

Use temperature and humidity instruments to detect the installation sit environment. The temperature should be between 10 to 35-degree centigrade, and humidity should be around 20 to 75%

 Flatness Detection

Use flatness detector to detect or examine the flatness of base ground within 2 meters of a ruler, the height differences should be less than 5 mm

Base ground Construction

Grinding base with a grinder to handle unevenness, and surface dust on the ground. Use blade for removing all paint, adhesive, and other such residues. The raised and loose places can be polished with a polisher. Remove all dust from the ground with a vacuum cleaner until it gets clean

Self- leveling concrete construction

Pouring the self-leveling slurry to the ground, and use a scraper for batch scraping. Putting on the spikes, and use a deforming roller to discharge the air mixed in agitation. Close the site immediately after completion of construction, and is forbidden to walk over it for at last 10 hours

Laying & Cutting Floor

The flooring should be placed on the installation site for more than 24 hours to make the material memory restored, and the flooring temperature has to be consistent with the site. Remember, the two vinyl sheets should be overlapped. The general overlapping range is 3cm, and cutting must be done in one go

Use professional trimming tools for cutting edges of homogenous PVC flooring roll or sheet.

Sticking the floor

Prior to applying an adhesive, roll one end of the sheet, clean the ground, and back of the sheet, then apply adhesive on the ground. The applying of adhesive should be uniform and comprehensive. The adhesive should be naturally dried after applying.

Each adhesive has a different way of use, as there are different types of adhesives. You need to refer product manual for complete details

Exhaust & Rolling

Once the sheet is laid, use a cork block to squeeze out all bubbles under the sheet. Here, using a 50 kg or 75 kg roller for rolling sheet evenly, repair the hem at the seam. Any extra adhesive on sheet surface should be erased in time, opening groove, and welding should start after 24 hours

Opening Groove & Welding

The opening of the groove should be done once the adhesive has fully cured. Use a groove device to slot the seam, the groove should no penetrate the bottom. However, the recommended groove depth should be 2/3 of the thickness of the sheet

Before welding, the remaining dust and debris in the groove must be removed completely. Both automatic or manual welding equipment can be used. On the other hands, the temperature of the welding torch should be set per the type of welding rod which must be squeezed into the groove at a uniform speed

Once the welding rod gets a bit cooler, then use the blade to shovel the extra part above the sheet surface. When the welding rod is completely cooled, use the blade again for removing he raised part
